ARDINGLY - SOUTH OF ENGLAND SHOW 2010

We are very proud to announce our following  achievements this year at the South of England Show:

Luke Gorman age 20, Metalwork Department - won 2nd Prize for his Contemporary Sheet Steel Gate.

Rebbekah Darby, age 18, won 3rd Prize for her Ceramic Tea Cup Ride.

The Camelia Botnar Homes & Gardens Show stand won both Best Non-Agricultural Stand in Show and also the Best Stand in Show.

Our Horticulturists won a Silver Medal for their Garden Design, based on recyled materials and  named Second Chance.

Our other entrants were Laura Groome 17 with her ceramic Lighthouse Lamp, Jake Greenhalgh with his Madison Chair and Freddie Baldachinno with his Model Truck.  There were great pieces, but unfortunately not winners.

                         TEA, TALK AND A TOUR AT OUR NURSERY

These meetings will appeal to large groups and clubs.   We offer a talk to members of your party and then an informal question and answer session from our Chief Executive and our Nursery Manager.   These talks are extremely popular and very informative to those of you who are not familiar with our background, what the charity is all about, or the work we are undertaking in the Nursery at Camelia Botnar Homes & Gardens, Cowfold, West Sussex.

We hold these talks in our Garden Centre where you can  enjoy some tea and cake afterwards combined with a tour of our Nursery to see any new plant arrivals or offers available at the time.  You may prefer to combine this event with a lunch or a light bite for your group, in which case we we can organise this on your behalf.

                                       TALK AT YOUR CLUB

Alternatively,  we are happy to offer a talk  in the local area  at your club's meeting if you would prefer.     This  will be a Powerpoint presentation,  again by our Chief Executive and Nursery Manager, when all we require is access to an electricity supply.   The format of these events will be the same as above, with the addition of a visual screen and sometimes an occasional humourous edge to the photos.  These meetings are so popular we have even taken bookings in the diary for 2012.

                                      COACH PARTIES WELCOME

Our Nursery has ample car parking space where there is access right up to our doors.   We  can cater for large coach parties, but we would ask that you pre-book any visit to our Bistro to ensure your group gets a table.   

The Camelia Botnar Bistro is very popular and we would not like your party to be disappointed and miss out on the delights in our new Summer Menu.

We have a great selection of plants to colour your garden

We had another hugely successful Late Night Opening Extravaganza last Christmas when we were entertained once again by  Morris Dancers and Carol Singers.  Father Christmas was there for the children and mince pies and our mulled wine was there for the grown ups.

We are planning on more very very exciting events during the year so watch this space...
